In this project we introduce the Data Licenses Clearance Center, which provides a library of machine readable standard licenses and allows users to compose arbitrary licenses. In addition, the system supports the clearance of rights issues by providing users with information about the equivalence, similarity and compatibility of licenses.
The Clearance Center is a software framework that supports the automated clearance of rights thus supporting the legally secure and time-efficient reutilization of third party data sources.
In this project we work with different programming languages, including Python, C++ and Java.
